About ME

Hi, I'm Melissa Parra and I'm a Latina Graphic Artist & Photographer based in sunny Southern California, and my exciting journey started with self portraits in my cozy spare  100 sq. ft room. About 4 years ago, I set up a "studio" in that room and fell in love with photography. Taking self portraits was my way of taking matters into my own hands, I got to learn technique, express myself and challenge my creativity. After a couple months, I had the desire to keep growing, I dove into mastering my editing skills and learned how to use the entire Adobe Creative Suite. Soon after, I began booking amazing client photoshoots and cannot be more excited for the future! My life is something that is constantly influencing my art and my art is making my life worth living —mi vida y mi arte!
